Meet the Doctors
Lindsey North, DDS, MS
Lindsey North is beyond excited to meet you and your family!
She attended the College of William & Mary for her BS in Biology, Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry for her DDS, and completed two additional years of study at the University of Illinois at Chicago for her specialty degree in pediatric dentistry as well as her master’s degree in Oral Sciences. Throughout her career and during her studies, she has focused on preventative dentistry and loves sharing this passion and knowledge with parents and patients. Dr. North opened Bitty Bites Pediatric Dentistry from the ground up in 2020. She built this practice to create an encouraging and entertaining environment for patients, create a place where parents feel welcome and heard, and shape a practice that gives back to our community. We want your child to grow with us, turning tiny teeth into big smiles. Dr. North works hard to make sure each patient is comfortable, meeting your child where they are!
She lives in Richmond with her husband, Dieter, and their two young children, Cole and Cora. She also trains our in-office therapy dogs who live with her— Mia (greyhound) and Lucy (Boston terrier). In her spare time, you can find her at Burn Boot Camp, playing mahjong, volunteering with animal rescue agencies, and spending time with family and friends.
Dr. North is a board-certified pediatric dentist with the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. She continues to be awarded the Fellow status with the AAPD due to her continued commitment to leadership in dentistry and involvement in organized dentistry, going above and beyond what is required for the field of pediatric dentistry. With a strong commitment to continually learning, she has expanded her knowledge of tethered oral tissue releases with a CO2 laser and airway centered decision making in dentistry by being an active member of The Breathe Institute. She is also a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Richmond Dental Society, Virginia Dental Association, Southeastern Society of Pediatric Dentistry, and the American Dental Association.
